Billed as “The Ultimate Entrepreneur Search,” the show The Entrepreneur is a television program which originated in 2009 in Malaysia. The show depicts 8 contestants/ aspiring entrepreneurs from around the country with various backgrounds competing in an elimination-style competition to become The Entrepreneur. The winning contestant would have the opportunity to create his own business start up with the prize money of RM 10,000 and be crowned The Entrepreneur. The Entrepreneur was created and hosted by Ernie Chen, Executive Producer, who is a well recognized TV/ Radio personality, acclaimed serial entrepreneur and international speaker.
The premise of the show is to conduct an entrepreneur search for a person to start a new business start up under Ernie Chen’s guidance. The show led Ernie Chen to become known for his fearful catch phrase “You’re Done, Get Out!”
The Entrepreneur is an outLOUD Studios production. The theme song for the show “Money Game” and other themes and underscore are written by composer S.Qahhar of outLOUD Records.
